Louise “Momma Bear” Herne McDonald, condoled Bear Clan mother for the Mohawk National Council, is a founding member of Konon:kwe, the circle of Mohawk women working to reconstruct the power of their origins through education, empowerment, and trauma-informed approaches.

In this session, she will discuss the philosophy of Kahnistensera, Mother Law, natural law that binds Indigenous kinship society and how it can restore healthy relationships with one another and society as a whole.
